Cartel Celebrates 20 Years of Chroma with Anniversary Tour

A day after releasing their re-release of their 20-year-old hit album, Chroma, Cartel embarked on their tour to celebrate the anniversary, bringing along Landon Conrath, Winona Fighter, and The Summer Set. Unfortunately, Hunny couldn’t make it to the Nashville date.

This tour was unique to Nashville because Cartel joined forced with local group Nashville Is The Reason to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with Emo Night Nashville and guest DJs, Tay Jardine and Free Throw. Over an hour before the show began, and between sets, Emo Night Nashville pulled out all the emo bangers for the people to enjoy. It was a collaboration that needs to happen again in the future, bringing a more unique and personalized experience to attendees.

Landon Conrath was the first artist to take the stage, performing a beautiful set to warm up the fans for the night. He had a wonderful voice and captivating lyrics.

Winona Fighter proved, once again, that they’re ready to take the scene by storm, with their wild, energetic, and completely captivating performance. Vocalist Coco Kinnon has more energy on stage than I’ve ever seen from a band, unable to keep herself from moving while she engages the crowd and interacts with her bandmates in a way that makes their performance uniquely fun.

The Summer Set performed songs mostly off their new album, Meet Me At The Record Store, while performing on a stage decorated based off said album. They brought a high amount of energy, with vocalist Brian Dales even jumping into the crowd to sing with fans. It was evident they made a lasting impression on the crowd.

Cartel closed out the night with a wildly fun performance that brought us back to better days. Their performance was so memorable, fans were taking to the internet to talk about how great their experience was, how amazing the band still sounded, and how they loved the fun lighting setup—all highly agreeable points. Cartel is a band that keeps their performance simplistic yet engaging and memorable. Their music stands out as much as their performance, the voices of the fans echoing through the venue. It is clear that after 20 years, fans aren’t going anywhere.
