Twisted Minds
Twisted Minds by Sophie Quinn
After reading Splintered Hearts when it was released, I hoped we’d get Mark and Hunter’s story one day, and I wasn’t disappointed to read theirs. Their story had more emotion and obstacles than I imagined, and certainly a different Mark than the one I had met in the first book. It was interesting to watch the friendship dynamic unfold between Noah and Mark, who are hookups at the beginning of this book, but best friends in the first. I loved watching their friendship develop the same I loved watching Hunter and Mark’s relationship.
Mark, in order to avoid hurting someone, agrees to get the captain of the hockey team to fall in love with him, then break his heart. The problem? Unbeknownst to him at the time, the captain is the hot hockey player he let sleep over--and he doesn’t do sleepovers! Gasp.
Twisted Minds took me on a fun, slightly emotional journey where I rooted for the main characters the moment they met at a vending machine. Part of the journey was a little side comedy between Noah and the hockey team that had me cracking up. I can’t wait for the series to continue.
