Pit Stop by Cora Rose

Cora Rose dived into the omegaverse for her recent release, The Pit Stop. While I’m not normally a fan, she is an author I’ll devour, so I picked up the book and was pleasantly surprised.

Skye, having never been in heat yet, decides to lose his virginity at a pit stop glory hole he had heard about. He goes into heat during the exchange, and when he leaves, he realizes the person he was with is his brother’s best friend, Maverick. They go to his house to (literally) ride out his heat. Maverick has had a crush on Skye forever but never told him, but thinks they can’t be together because Skye attends a university further away. Plus, his brother doesn’t support it. Despite their issues, they spend his next heat together.

This book explores them discovering their feelings, accidentally bonding, and trying to fix it. It’s mostly smut with a little plot, but a very entertaining read that I couldn’t put down.
