Memphis May Fire Sells Out Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville
Memphis May Fire played their second-to-last date of tour in Nashville, TN on May 15th with elijah, Wind Walkers, and Caskets.
All of the openers did an incredible job at warming up the sold out crowd. People continued to pile in throughout the show, filling up the bottom and top floor quickly. Almost all other areas of the venue were empty—something I don’t witness often there. It goes to show how many people wanted to see all of the bands performing. Things heated up early on in Memphis May Fire’s set, with people crowdsurfing during the band’s opening song, Shapeshifter, named after their recently released album. I could tell it was going to be a good night for fans when we had to be escorted out for safety. Despite the tour being in celebration of their newly released album, Memphis May Fire made fans happy by performing older songs, such as The Abandoned, The Sinner, and Miles Away. Fans screamed, sang, crowdsurfed, and moshed throughout their set.
While the tour is concluded for now, all of the bands are ones you want to make sure not to miss in the future. This might’ve been the perfect tour together, but they’ll all be just as fantastic separate.
